If you like Civil War weapons, cannons, uniforms, shells, buttons, bayonets, swords, soldiers’ & civilians’ letters, rusty canteens, bullets, photos, artwork, metal detectors, period documents and BOOKS then be sure to stop by the Richmond [Va] Raceway this weekend to view lots of cool Confederate and Union stuff. The books part is where I come in. I will be at the Angle Valley Press table signing and discussing my books Red Clay to Richmond [2004] and The Confederate Alamo [2010]. Please stop by and say hi and I might reveal my newest project due out next year. Also, a highlight of the show will be a 24 foot display by the Jefferson Davis Memorial Committee that focuses on the R.E. Lee Camp Soldiers Home and the Confederate Soldiers Home Movement.

This show will have over 400 tables of displayed items so it is well worth the price of $8 per adult and free for children under 12. Saturday times are 9 am to 5 pm & Sunday will be 9 am to 5 pm.
